This doll is often called the "Kestner A.T." for her similarity to the dolls made by the French manufacturer A. Thuillier.  She is assumed to have been made by the Kestner company for the French market.

Jointed composition body

Hand painted porcelain head has a very serene looking face with large navy blue glass paperweight eyes

Her golden strawberry mohair wig complements her nutmeg coloured silk costume

The beautiful lace, made on the old "Lever" looms in France, is a nutmeg coloured net woven with a fine metallic gold design

Her hat is trimmed with ostrich feathers and ribbon to complement the outfit

She wears handmade leather shoes and hand knit socks
